This is so wise (as usual). How funny that I wrote about my distinction - adding to the sum of happiness in the world, or not - the same day you wrote about weight and lightness! I love what you say about keeping them in tension.
Thank you Allegra :) As we said, it is not the first time we were inspired to share the same message. I had never thought about the two as a tension before. Usually something is very weighty and we are looking for ways to lighten it up. But sometimes we just need to let it be weighty.
Thanks, Sheila! You are giving me a lot of credit for many master classes. Thank you, my friend, as always for your shining support :) You always bring light to the weight.
Inspirational writing offering us an opportunity to rebalance our weight vs light thinking. So many are living in one or the other and not in balance. I believe the child is born with surprisingly reasonable balance and for many we have drifted to the extremes. As someone once sang “the child is grown the dream is gone” it makes me reflect that we need to search and be willing to allow the light to shine. It’s there if we look for it. Thanks for the writings.

Wow! That is a lot of weight and light. Another master class. Viva the light.
